SITUATION

In 2002, Espressocode was asked to design and implement a document generation system to aid in the submission of documents to US Customs.

Documentation quality was often compromised and data was regularly flawed by inaccurate information.

SOLUTION

Espressocode created a fully integrated collaborative document generation solution which reduced communication, E&O (errors and omissions) and customs entry costs.

The creation of high quality, error free documentation, resulted in Espressocode's software becoming a mission critical tool for the production of documents for customs submission. Part of this solution includes data referencing which results in a reduction in costly input errors as data is regularly checked for inaccurate coding and/or entry.

Through the use of the Exdocs platform, customers have seen a significant reduction to their data entry costs along with a significant improvement in service levels. Customers using the Exdocs platform remain in compliance with the new rigorous standards adopted by governments around the world.

Charges relating to flawed documentation and/or improper coding have been significantly reduced.
